Monday, August 25, 2008Skin Free Soap Awarded the National Eczema Association Seal of AcceptanceSkin Free Skin Care’s Extra Moisturizing Soap and Shampoo Bar has been awarded the National Eczema Association’s Seal of Acceptance. Products eligible for this award have been created for use for those with eczema or severe sensitive skin conditions and have satisfied the criteria set up by the National Eczema Association Seal of Approval Review Panel. This panel considers testing data on sensitivity, safety, and toxicity as well as ingredients, content, and formulation data. The NEA Panel consists of experts in Dermatology, Allergy, Peadiatrics, Pediatrics Dermatology, Pediatric Allergy, and other medical specialties. The NEA standards do not guarantee that a product will be successful in treating severe skin issues, nor does it imply that persons with severe atopic dermatitis might not experience an allergic or other negative reaction when using approved products. People with specific allergies should always consult the ingredients of new products that they use to ensure they will not be exposing themselves to risk. We encourage all newcomers to Skin Free Skin Care products to email (or phone (1-888-450-2459) for any questions that you might have before purchasing our products. Skin Free Skin Care Extra Moisturizing Soap has a toxicity rating of “0” from the Environmental Working Group, which is their lowest score for toxicity. We recommend using the Skin Free Extra Moisturizing Soap in combination with the Skin Free After Shower Moisture Spritz for those who have eczema. posted by Julie from Blue Ridge Gypsy Studiospermalink |
